Geocellular confinement system for road base reinforcement and load distribution under heavy traffic
HDPE geocell channel lining for hydraulic flow control and bank stabilization

What is a Geocell?

Geocells are three-dimensional honeycomb structures made from HDPE strips and ultrasonically welded to create expandable cells. When filled with soil, sand, or aggregate, the system forms a stiffened composite layer for ground reinforcement, soil stabilization, and erosion control across roads, slopes, channels, and retaining wall facings.

  • High chemical resistance to acids, alkalis, salts, and many industrial process liquids.
  • UV-stabilized with 2–3% carbon black for long-term outdoor exposure.
  • Weldable & repairable: hot-wedge and extrusion welding produce strong, inspectable seams.
  • Fast deployment with wide rolls (up to ~8 m / 26 ft class) to reduce field seams and speed installation.

Why it Works

  • Confinement: Limits lateral movement of infill, increasing modulus and bearing capacity for improved load support.
  • Stress distribution: Spreads vertical loads over a wider area, lowering subgrade pressure and rutting.
  • Hydraulics & vegetation: Perforations enable hydraulic connectivity, while roots can pass between cells for green facings.
  • Fast, adaptive: Flexible sections follow ground contours and install quickly with simple tools.
  • Always install a Non-woven Geotextile separation layer underneath the Geocells to prevent aggregate loss and ensure long-term stability.

Designed for Results—Fast, Simple, Reliable

Built for contractors, distributors, and engineers who need outcomes: stronger bases, stable slopes, and predictable schedules. We make it easy to specify, buy, and deploy HDPE geocells that perform on site and deliver clean, professional handovers.

  • Lower total installed cost: Reduce aggregate usage and cut haul/compaction cycles (project-dependent).
  • Speed on site: Panels expand quickly; standard accessories and clear install guides keep crews moving.
  • Consistent quality: Every lot is traceable; batch QC records ship with the order.
  • Brandable options: Private-label packaging and documentation for distributors (MOQ applies).
  • Worldwide delivery: Export-ready packing, multimodal logistics, and responsive after-sales support.

  • Materials: 100% virgin HDPE with carbon black for UV stability and an antioxidant package for long service life.
  • QC: Dimensional checks; seam peel/shear sampling; raw-material COA and batch test records.
  • Options: Textured or smooth; perforated or solid; common cell heights 50–200 mm; weld spacing 330–712 mm.

Installation Snapshot

Prepare subgrade and (if specified) place/sew geotextile separator.
Expand geocell panels and anchor per design (stakes, tendons, or keys).
Connect panels (hooks, staples, clips) and align over area.
Place infill (aggregate/soil) and compact in lifts; maintain cell tension.
Finish surface—paved, unpaved, vegetated, or rock as per design.
