Se instalan sobre bases de grava y se envuelven completamente en geotextil para evitar la sedimentaci\u00f3n y garantizar un rendimiento hidr\u00e1ulico a largo plazo. Los m\u00f3dulos reforzados bajo las carreteras y las zonas de circulaci\u00f3n de veh\u00edculos soportan cargas vivas, con profundidades de enterramiento que suelen oscilar entre 1,5 y 5 m, dependiendo de las condiciones. Los tanques est\u00e1n conectados a la red de drenaje municipal con v\u00e1lvulas de control, salidas de rebose y trampas de sedimentos de primera descarga para interceptar los contaminantes. Los pozos de acceso y las c\u00e1maras de sedimentos permiten una limpieza rutinaria y una vida \u00fatil prolongada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Este sistema alivia la presi\u00f3n de las alcantarillas pluviales durante las lluvias intensas, reduce el riesgo de inundaciones y preserva el valioso uso del suelo, al tiempo que favorece la gesti\u00f3n sostenible del agua. Tambi\u00e9n reduce la carga contaminante y, cuando se dise\u00f1a como unidades permeables, ayuda a recargar las aguas subterr\u00e1neas.
